WerFault.exe failed. Kepersky ofered an update to 2011 (upgraded memory management). No change.
Kapersky support gave me a hyperlink to a fix offered by Uniblue (Usual disclaimer). Fault has not reoccured. microsoft strikes again! Thank you Kapersky support.

I bought the 2010 edition. I wasn't having any problems with my Windows security, but I just felt I needed something extra. I can't say this has helped that much. In the time I have it it's maybe caught 2 viruses and one trojan. However, it has slowed my computer down considerably. It is very frustrating. I am just about to remove it now and go back to my free Windows security, so I just thought I would vent my frustration out here a little!

I have used this product before and chose it again. It's easy to install and doesn't prevent wanted items from being accessed, as some security products do. Gives peace of mind. Recommended.

This is a very cheap option for getting the Kasperski security suite 2011.
Yes, I did say 2011 even although this is the 2010 version.
Kasperski allow all licensed users access to all updates. So you can go to the Kasperski website and install the latest version and use it with your 2010 licence number.
Great security software.

I cannot state clearly enough remove every conceivable trace of previous Internet security products like Mcaffee or norton + others you may use. Search online for removal programs to fully remove old products and then and only then will you be able to install Kaspersky. It was an absolute pig to get it to install but in the end it's done and so far it's been fine. Doesn't appear to have slowed my machine down and the user interface is easy to navigate.
