Product Description Powerball is the world's most powerful hand gyroscope, generating speeds of over 16,000 rpm! Simply by starting up the Powerball in your hand and rotating your wrist faster you can develop incredible speeds and increase your strength. Powerball is seriously addictive for all ages, making it ideal for play, exercise, or fun competitions.
new powerball ownerJanuary 6, 2009 John C. Coburn(UK) my highly anticipated powerball arrived this morning. I chose the white signature series as i felt i might get bored of all the neon lights after five minutes and the white lights are discreet but still pretty.
i was a little daunted initially by not being able to keep the gyro spinning. starting it up with the string is a doddle but keeping it spinning is another thing. however after ten trys and a little pondering i managed to get the thing going. the manual specifies how to do all this but in practice it takes a little getting used to.
am very happy with purchase, price and delivery time.
My hubby is finaly working out!!January 2, 2009 KiranoKieli My hubby is a true computer nerd and if he has any mussles they will be in his fingers, not lovely on his arms. It looked horrible, but thanks to this wonderful thing my rather nerdy boyfriend is starting to join the living and can actually lift a chair or two. And as mussles truly are a turn on for us women, well I just hope he'll keep being as addictive to this gadget as he's been for the past few months...
White Pro Signature or Regular Neon?December 26, 2008 M. Brocklebank 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought the Neon White Pro Signature model Powerball for myself, and at the same time my brother bought the Neon Blue Pro. I chose the Signature Pro model as the price wasn't much more and it included a wrist strap and instructional DVD. However, the wrist strap just gets in the way and the DVD is pointless, especially considering you get an easy start guide anyway. On the other hand, the instruction manual that comes with the Neon Pro is easy to refer to and contains all the necessary information for getting started.
Other than that, both powerballs are identical and great pieces of equipment. I like the subtle colours of the Signature Pro, but the Neon Blue also looks great when it's in use. If the colour isn't important, I'd say get the Neon Pro, or get the Signature Pro and just leave the wrist strap and cheesy DVD in the box!
An ingenious and addictive piece of exercise equipment!!December 22, 2008 E. C. Carnochan(Dumfries) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product is fantastic. Period.
I particularly love the review below giving it 1*. If you need to spend more than 30 seconds to get it to spin fast and smooth you've got the worst co-ordination in the world. Beginners need to spin the gyro inside with the string provided - which will NOT break if you do it right, you don't need to even spin it hard but it's easier than using your finger. Then all you need to do is twist your wrist slowly in a 6" circle. That's all you need to do to get it spinning. Then match the revolutions of the gyro with a smooth wrist movement and you're away!! Start slow and practice fast, small circle movements to build up the resistance. This Powerball is fantastic, the faster you go the harder it is to spin - I thought it wasn't doing much until I stopped and then had trouble lifting a cup of tea!! It's great for muscle building, injury physiotherapy and dexterity and grip - you won't be dissapointed!!
Please note - this basic model does NOT come with the LCD monitor which measures your speed, RPM etc. You might not think you'd want it but after you get it spinning all you'll want to know is how fast it's going!!! Go for the slightly more expensive Neon or Pro model which includes the LCD counter.

This is why I bought the Power Ball to try and get some definition in my upper arms and it is working providing I stick with it and keep on doing 'rep's. For me as I am disabled and have slightly weak hands, I am glad it comes with a strap otherwise I can see it flying through the air straight into the tv or knocking someone out! My husband who suffers from tendonitis has also found it incredibly helpful in relieving the pain in his wrists.
One thing I have to add is...........when it arrived my husband was curled up with laughter watching my trying to start it, well, the last laugh was on him as I started it on the second attempt and he took at least 6 go's at it! Girl power! We still don't have the knack of starting the ball without the strings though but will perservere.
Word of caution........make sure you keep the starter strings safe otherwise little cats love to eat them.
A brilliant idea and I am so pleased I purchased it.
