This is the second Omron pedometer I have had from Amazon. Unfortunately I trod on my first one! oops!! I had been so pleased with the first one that I had no hesitation in ordering a second. It is very easy to set up and it measures steps accurately and discretely - no rattling like some cheaper pedometers! I note that some people think it isn't suitable for runners as the distance it calculates doesn't seem to add up. My advice would be to walk and run the number of steps it suggests in the setup process, and see how you step length alters and perhaps take an average figure to get a more accurate distance covered. Enjoy the challenge of beating your maximum number of steps each day! :o)

This is a seriously good pedometer for serious walkers and those who want to know the whole truth. I love the 'aerobic steps' and 'memory' functions. The case is chunky and robust with a strong clip - not flimsy and fragile like others I've tried.

The pedometer operates well and I use it on walks with our walking group. However, distance readings are given only in kilometers and the majority of members in our group are elderly and always ask for the distance in miles, which I usually have to calculate and give a rough estimate. The only other problem is that the pedometer does not give trip readings, and therefore includes the distance of trips that i may have made prior to or after specific walks.

Overall really good, just works. Seems to count accuratley in pockets, on belts, in shirt pockets.
