Product Description
Under inflated tyres result in poor handling, braking and an increased risk of a blow-out. They can hit your wallet, too - research shows running your rubber at 20 per cent below the correct pressure (typically 6psi) increases tyre wear by a quarter. Fuel use goes up by three per cent - and tyre life is cut by nearly a third too!
So checking your pressures at least once a week makes sense - and a mini compressor will enable you to top them up quickly and easily.
Auto Express used 12 mini compressors to inflate a tyre from 20-30psi against the clock, checking the accuracy of the gauge before and after. These two figures were combined to get an error rating. Finally, features such as hose and wire storage, lamps and adaptors, air-release valves and pressure presets were balanced against price.

I am pleased with the compressor and have used it once satisfactorily. However the space for the cable is too small and so it is difficult to fit back in the body housing. Secondly I think the use of RAC in the title is misleading as it does not refer to the well known brand name used in motoring circles.

Product arrived very quickly and does just what it's supposed to. You have to run the car in order to power it - but I guess that saves your battery - works really well.

Excellent product. Very quick at inflating tyre and not too noisy. Comes with a carry case which is handy, also small enough to carry in the car and can sit under the seat. Good fitment to attach to valve, screws on like a valve cap.
