This toothbrush is fantastic. I bought this toothbrush 1 year ago now and I am still impressed by it. I cannot say one negative thing about it!! Fantastic!
Great Piece of Kit!January 2, 2009 wunjot(Scotland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this toothbrush as my old one (also a Braun) was coming to the end of its life and this particular model (with 52% off the RRP) was cheaper than my old toothbrush was when I bought it several years ago!!
It really is the Rolls Royce of toothbrushes. It delivers exactly what it promises, four modes (clean, massage, soft and polish) and leaves your teeth feeling amazing. I particularly like the fact that there is a box on the stand in which to keep the heads (I have a Pro Bright for polishing and a floss action for cleaning) which is nice and hygienic.
I have used the Smartguide, as I found with my previous brush that I could sometimes brush a little too hard. The handy indicator on the Smartguide lets you know if this is the case. I don't think I'll need to do this for long though.
The toothbrush comes with a two year warranty, but if you register online Braun increases this to three years - so they must be pretty confident about their product.
Cleaning teeth was never a pleasure before!!December 5, 2008 Mr. G. Bridgeman-clarke(Rayleigh UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for a few years and whilst initially I never thought they made much difference, I now know very differently. In the two years I have used this and previous brushes I have not been referred to the Hygenist by the dentist to remove missed plaque. No pain and now no apprehension visiting the dentist any more.
The product has great features but to be frank I need a brush which cleans my teeth is economical to refil and this one even indicates when you should renew the head.
This brush does what it says it does and doesn't boast above. If it keeps down your dentist bills and visits to the Hygenist then its a no brainer - buy one!!
Is it possible to fall in love with a toothbrush? Yes!November 30, 2008 E. Gould(London) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I am a fan of electric toothbrushes, and liked the Sonicare ones I have had in the past(ones being the operative word since they had a short battery life and were rendered useless within 12 months; also the replacement heads were SO expensive). I have been using an Oral B toothbrush for the last year and thought I would 'upgrade' when I saw this one on Amazon - it was heavily reduced. Oh my God! This toothbrush truly is the bee's knees! The SmartGuide is most definitely NOT a gimmick but really useful. I have stuck it on my bathroom mirror and it's incredibly helpful when you're brushing your teeth. No wonder the toothbrush itself is Oral B's cream of the crop; I have never felt my teeth so clean and gleaming. I reckon I used to brush too hard with other brushes, but this one alerts you when you are pressing too hard. Oral B offer a 24 month refund - if you're not thrilled with your brush for any reason, you can return it for a full refund. that's how confident the company is in the success of their amazing toothbrush.
I could rabbit on forever, but if you are contemplating buying a new electric toothbrush, I wholeheartedly recommend this super dooper one!!

If your looking for a higher end electric toothbrush that will give you more than just a rotating brush then the Oral-B Triumph is the one for you. I've had it for a couple of months now and I've noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth (something that never happened with my previous, and much cheaper, electric toothbrush). The brush has a number of very useful features that help you get a proper clean and for the right amount of time. Obviously the Triumph has one stand out feature, the Smartguide screen. It's a bit of a gimmick but does make you concentrate more on brushing evenly throughout your mouth and makes sure you don't put too much pressure on the brush head. However it's by no means essential and, if you have a messy bathroom, you may find it hard to locate space for it. I don't use it much now as the brush handle vibrates to tell you when you need to change the section of your mouth. The other down point is the Smartguide is not backlit so you may have difficulty seeing the screen in a dimmer lit bathroom.
The brush handle is sort of banana shaped, quick bulky, but comfortable enough to hold. The buttons are in a good position and stiff enough so you don't accidentally press one while brushing. The LED display on the front of the handle tends to get covered in toothpaste so does need more of a wipe down (battery power lights would have been better here).
Brushing is perfectly comfortable after a couple of go's. It does take time to get used to, especially if you've never used one before. It has a number of very nice features like message and polish. Not necessary for me and I generally want to brush and go. However the choice is there for those that like to spend a little more time in the bathroom.
Overall the Oral-B Triumph is an excellent electric toothbrush, with room for improvement, but as it stands worth the money. You will get a superior clean and I guarantee you'll start noticing the difference. Recommended.
