Great pans, a couple of little gripesJanuary 2, 2009 Mrs. R. Hopwood(Lancashire,UK) These are great pans as mentioned by all the other reviewers. Very easy to clean and great heat induction. A couple of things to note are that the pans are quite heavy when empty, so quite weighty to lift when full of, say, potatoes (the roundness of the pans also makes it difficult to empty them easily), and also the lids get very hot, so you have to use a teatowel or ovenglove to remove them. Other than that, I have enjoyed using my new pans, especially as they were quite a bargain!

I bought these last week from Amazon to replace my stainless steel set. First thing to mention as I struggled to find out before buying is that these are not dishwasher safe. Russell Hobb say that putting them in the dishwasher could affect the non-stick coating. Whether you risk it or not is up to you, other reviewers say they've dishwashed theirs and not had a problem. I've not risked it yet!
The pans are heavier than my previous pans, a bit of a struggle to drain potatoes from the large pan - I had to use 2 hands whereas before I only needed one. Could be a problem for more elderly people?
My main gripe is that the frying pan is very small, its OK for frying 2 eggs but nothing else. You will need a bigger pan to use alongside this set. Also the milk pan is very shallow. I can't see it being much use for anything apart from heating milk up and funnily enough thats what I use my microwave for! I really don't think you could even cook peas in it as any boiling water would soon be splashing over the top. It could have done with being a bit deeper. The other 3 pans are all good sizes.
Saying that overall I am happy with the set - I'll just keep my old frying pan and maybe another small pan. The heat distribution is very good and they are amazingly easy to clean. Great price on Amazon as well!

These are fantastic pans, would fully recommend them to anyone thinking of buying them. If like me you've only ever used cheap pans in the past, you'll be amazed at how easy to use and clean they are and how quickly they heat up. Excellent value for money.

Do as they say, and are quite stylish in my opinion! They have my vote... but only had them a few weeks, so early days yet :-)
