the Phillips ones have the edge for most usesJanuary 2, 2009 C. A. R. Croft(Bournemouth) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The other review is spot on. With these you get 4 rather than three, they are 10 cheaper, and the supplier was fast and good. Also, being smaller and not fixed in the glasses, you can use them in any tea-light candle holder that you may have.
But the downside is that you have to take them out of the glasses to recharge them, and you have to fiddle with the little switch on the underside to switch them on (it's a hard life!) while with the Philips Imageo you just shake them to switch on, and you just put them on the recharging tray to recharge.
In terms of realism I think there's nothing in it. The philips flicker a bit more, and are a bit more yellow, while these ones are slighly more yellow/green, but it's neglible. Both are a bit yellower than a real candle, but can fool visitors and are certainly good enough for a nice atmosphere.
I think you'd ideally have both!

Realistic candle lightsNovember 24, 2008 Corbow 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this product indeed. After the initial charge, all four are working well, and look just like the real thing, compared to Philips Imageo, which are nowhere near as realistic as these. Also you get four lights, but only three with the Imageo's, so a great deal all round. You take the lights out of the glass container to recharge - the charger accepts all four at a time, and each candle has a switch. As I said previously, these are extremely realistic, and I am really pleased with them. A quality item.
