Was an original Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, but thought I'd be too old for this stuff now. Got the Twilight book as an impulse read to take away on holiday as a bit of light entertainment to have an idea of what my kids were reading. Was so engrossed I couldn't put the book down. As soon as I was back off holiday I had to go to a 24hr store and by the next in the series (I actually couldn't wait to order it online and get it delivered) and went on to order Eclipse and Breaking Dawn before getting half way through New Moon. Yes, you have to love a little bit of tortured teen romance. However, I think that Meyer's skill is that she captures it so beautifully. She fully transported my back to being 13-14 years old and all the emotions that swirl through you at that age. Actually felt a little bereft by the time the series was over. 5 stars for Meyers.

I loved this book, with all the doom and gloom in the world its nice to have a happy ending the twilight saga is a great love story for all ages.

I enjoyed reading this book very much, even I at some point got very frustrated because part 2 is written from Jacobs point of view. However it is great, full of humour and gave me a good laugh. And blends in well with the rest of the story. This book completes the most fantastic lovestory I have ever read with a beautiful ending, I am only very sad to say goodbye as this is THE END. Looking forward to the film!!! All 4 books are written in a lovely English, impossible to let go of. Real obsession for me. Very interesting experience for a 58 yr :o).

GREAT READ FAB BOOK,WOULD RECOMMEND FOR YOUNG TEENS TO ADULTS IF YOU LOVE THE FILMS A SNEAKY WAY TO READ THE ENDING AND IT DOESNT DISSAPOINT........THE DELIVERY SERVICE HOWEVER THAT DELIVERS FOR AMAZON(HOME DELIVERY)ARE LIARS DO NOT NO HOW TO DO THEIR JOBS AND IM AFRAID TO SAY HAVE PUT ME OFF USING ONLINE SHOPPING IF THEY ARE THE ONES DELIVERING.....MY ORDER WAS CHUCKED OVER MY GATE AT THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE IN THE POURING RAIN AND LEFT THEIR UNTILL I RETURED HOME FROM WORK,MY BOOK WAS RUINED WATER DAMAGED,I THEN HAD TO REPLACE THE BOOK WHICH AT THIS POINT IVE NOW PAID DOUBLE FOR,A WEEK OF ME PHONEING THE DELIVERY COMPANY TO REPORT THE INCIDENT,TO FIND OUT WHAT IS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT,TO BE TOLD THEN EVERY TIME I PHONED THAT SOMEBODY WOULD PHONE BACK WHICH NEVER HAPPENED,IN THE END AFTER A WEEK OF THIS I WAS TOLD TO PHONE AMAZON AND THEY WOULD DEAL WITH IT.........AMAZON WAS GREAT, A STRAIGHT REFUND FOR MY DAMAGED BOOK AND VERY APOLOGETIC.FANTASTIC BOOK,AMAZON GREAT,DELIVERY SERVICE POOR.
